AN ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY FOR ISABELLA COUNTY
Isabella Wind will create jobs and generate a sustainable new source of long-term revenue for local schools, government services, and private landowners. Over the projected 30-year life of the project, the total direct financial impact to the community will equal more than $130 million, with additional indirect benefits such as new job opportunities and community investment.
Revenue from this project will also inject millions of dollars into the local economy to support small business owners, local contractors, equipment suppliers, and individual landowners. If that is not incentive enough, the power from Isabella Wind will be delivered into the regional electrical grid, helping to diversify Michigan's energy portfolio while bringing America one step closer to energy independence.
